The Meeting:

Fabick had refreshments and drinks which were served underneath the overhang of their shop. Fabick's generosity witnessed by the AFE St. Louis chapter (above left), and free giveaways as our chapter president Frank speaks to attendees (above right). They gave away the items on the table, shirt, jacket, drink coolers and model trucks. At the top of this page, a presentation of flywheel UPS technology given by Mark Obenhaus.

Fabick's patriotism was not only displayed by the flag on their 2000 kW Power Module (above middle), and other equipment, but by their donation of equipment to NY through their CAT dealership.2000 kW Power Module was on display and demonstrated, (portable generator in a trailer type container) For demonstration purposes they operated the generator and placed it under maximum load with their load bank (left) to demonstrate the sound attenuation of this unit.

We seen Fabick's Mobile Oil Change Trailer used to provide on-site maintenance (left). Carries 220 gallons of clean oil and 220 gallons of waste oil. Uses a closed circuit system to minimize spillage. Also a 350 Ton Portable chiller in the trailer. Behind the trailer is an optional air handler with a blower to distribute conditioned air.

We learned of oil testing by talking with Oil Lab manager Terry Chastonay (left). Our tour of the Oil Lab led to the station where oil is tested for the presence of coolant (right).
