This Month:

It is all about us

Our People:

This month we focus on our members and our city. As you have read, our members on the steering committee have a great year planned for us, as well as some tentative plans for all of 2002! (see online calendar

Some members have volunteered, time and again, showing up for almost every meeting. As well as a special thanks from Frank and the rest of our chapter, we would like to dedicate a web page to them.

In the upcoming months, we want photos of our members and a business card to put online. (So come your hair at those meetings :>)

Our City:

Frank (our president) is Chief Engineer of the tallest building in Missouri. Last months tour was at the 5th tallest, hosted by Creech (Chief Engineer), who has been with us since the beginning. Our Christmas party will be on the top floor of the tallest building in Missouri. Given these facts, we can't help but marvel at St. Louis and it's wonderful architecture. We also encourage you to follow up the print version of this newsletter, with a visit to the online version for more details.

Learn, Lead, and Influence

The members above who attended the Steering Committee are really the unsung heroes of our chapter.  Their involvement is an excellent example of the leadership qualities in our AFE chapter.

Some of you may not realize the extent of their contribution behind the scenes. Besides attending every meeting, they have organized and hosted many of the tours/meetings. These members are helping shape our chapter, so while you are giving them a much deserved pat on the back, help shape our AFE St. Louis chapter.

Thru involvement you can fully experience AFE's resources to help you learn, lead, and influence. We have a lot of fun and educational events planned. Please take part in the planning and other activities. We challenge all our St. Louis Chapter members to get involved,  and see how AFE improves your life.

Our prayers go out to those victims of the attack on America, and their families.

AFE has a Relief Fund for those Facility personnel who fell victim to the 9-11 attack. Please click here to learn more.
