Some great up and coming events for our members and guest...

Upcoming Joint Meeting with other local Engineering organizations on "Communication Styles & Skills". A total of four Engineering groups will be represented at that meeting.

COTS is coming on May 8, 2003 at 5:30 PM mark you calendar!

 

What is "COTS" ?

 

The Coalition Of Technical Societies is comprised of four dynamic organizations from the St. Louis Area: 

Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) Healthcare Engineering Association (HEA) Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME St. Louis Electrical Board (SLEB)

 

 


For those of you who may not be aware, Joel was AFE's past National VP of membership. Joel is a long time member and great supporter of AFE. His online presentation is valuable but free and you will enjoy Joel's great speaking abilities.

Upcoming March Meeting: 

"Tour: MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc."

MEMC will be giving us a tour of their facility at 501 Pearl Drive St. Peters, MO 63376. This event will be Tuesday (Mar. 25, 2003 @ 5:00 P.M.)  

MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. will demonstrate the manufacturing process of silicon rods and wafers (computer chip materials). Then we will tour the facility from 5:30-7:00 . Afterwards, we will go to Stefanina's Restaurant in O'Fallon (109 E. Old Hwy. 40) for food and refreshments.

The TFM Show™ (formerly Facility Forum, a Group C property) will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, April 9-11, 2003. This show will be co-locating in Chicago with the CSI Show™ at Construct America™. 

The goal of this show is to better serve the needs of the nonresidential construction and building industry through partnerships with leading industry organizations and associations.

certified Our Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) Program will be given during the TFM Show. The CPMM review program has been developed to guide you in preparing for the CPMM exam. Our exclusive courses guide you through the most relevant materials to ensure maximum retention of the maintenance material.

Program Dates: Monday, April 7 - Friday, April 11

  • Partnering up with IFMA in Dallas to co-show World Workplace & Facilities America.
  • A member needs national survey will be out shortly.
  • We are completing a ABET accreditation for our CPE program.
